Welcome

I am a scholar of political ideologies particularly the centre-right. I am a member of the Centre for Research into Ideas and the Study of Political Ideologies.

Previously I was a doctoral researcher at the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham where I completed a PhD on centre-right neoliberalisation in post-war West Germany and the UK in the 1970s. From October 2023 - March 2024 was a Junior Fellow at LMU München at the KFG Universalism and Particularism in European Contemporary History. 

My work exists at the intersection of political ideologies, political theory/thought, political history, conceptual history and the history of neoliberalism. I am interested in how ideas circulate in and between political communities and the construction of political worldviews.
